How to Take a Video With QuickTake

QuickTake is a feature of your iPhone's camera that allows you to grab a video without leaving photo mode.

Open the Camera app. Then, if you just need a quick clip, press and hold the Shutter button. Your iPhone will start recording. Release to end the video.

If you want to continue recording without holding your finger down, slide the Shutter button onto the padlock icon to the right. Once you see a new circle appear on the right side, you can release your finger.
